I really enjoyed reading this book! What I appreciated is how authentic the stories feel. The author has done the research and drawn from actual accounts and history, which makes the stories of the Waco areas haunted places even more fascinating.
The book is broken into short, easy-to-read chapters, so it’s a great book to pick up and read a story or two at a time, or get completely caught up in and read all at once! Each story left me wondering what really happened.
If you enjoy ghost stories, local history, or anything paranormal, I definitely recommend reading this book.
When I got my copy of Waco Hauntings, I was expecting some ghost stories. I got those. But what I wasn’t expecting was the level of historical detail about the places and people behind those ghost stories. After reading this, I practically feel like a Texas native for how much I learned.
